Giveaway Day!

Update:  Congratulations to Heather who wrote, "I made some cute little purses for teen and pre-teen girls that we're blessed to know. Filling with lip gloss and other goodies :)"  Heather, I've sent you an email!!  As soon as you contact me with your choice and your address, I'll get your goodie in the mail to you.  And because this is the season of giving, I'm putting in a little something extra for you to enjoy :)

THANK YOU to everyone who entered!!  It was SO fun to read about what you're planning to GIVE this year.  Many, many, many handmade gifts.  But handmade or not, it seems that y'all are really trying hard to give something personal to the ones you love.  Those are my favorite kinds of gifts - the gifts that say, "I know you!!"

Merry Christmas to y'all!!!

Wanna win sumthin' purdy??  I'm giving away a washer necklace to one lucky reader -- your choice of design.  (You can see which designs are available here.)

Here's how!!  Just leave a comment below telling me the gift you are most excited to GIVE this Christmas. That's it!!

This contest is open until 5 pm PST on the 16th.  The winner will be chosen at random and notified.  If you are a "no reply" blogger, be sure to leave your contact info!!  If I don't hear back from the winner by noon on the 17th, another winner will be chosen.  ** Giveaway closed **

I will also ship internationally :)

Want a chance to win some other purdy stuff??  Hope over to Sew, Mama, Sew! to see who else is participating in Giveaway Day 2011.

Good luck to you!!

My best gift this year is an ornament I am giving to my friend's Mom. My friend's grandma died last year and his grandpa died this year. Anyway, it's an ornament that talks about loss and how they are not really gone but are with us forever. I hope she is going to like and it will make her happy.
Thanks for the giveaway.

How pretty! I'm giving my grandma a necklace I made for her.

Thanks for the opportunity to win- the necklaces are SWEET! I didn't make any handmade gifts this year, so it's the usual store bought stuff that I'm totally not enthused about. I love making my gifts and seeing the recipient's face when they realize I made it!

I already gave what will end up being the best Christmas gift. I paid for part of a funeral for one of my patients. His family did not have enough money.... He was a Veteran and he lived with dignity and I wanted to make sure he was remembered with dignity.

Thanks for the great giveaway!

I am planning to give my brother's new girlfriend something special to welcome her into the family. She is a real sweetheart and it took him forever to introduce her. She fit right in :) It'll have to be something sewn and to do with her profession - she's a wedding photographer. Off course I have a bunch of tuts bookmarked - now just to choose one and get going :)

Thank you for aa chance to win one of the necklaces - the "Sprockets" one is amazing.

At the moment I am excited to introduce my colllege-age international students to Christmas with the silly game of unwrap a gift and keep it or steal from someone else. I got totally ridiculous gifts at Wal-Mart for a dollar each(snowflake headband/penguin glitter body wash/reindeer mug, etc.) Actually, I can't remember anything else I've bought and am just hoping I can find everything I've hidden!!
